New Malashree English School, established in 2069 BS (2013 AD) in the memory of "Malshree Dhoon" (which is Newa artform) that musicians perform devotional music based on classical raag and taal system as the music of dashain originated in Newa community in the era 17th century. The For classes I to IX, deserving candidate who qualify through an aptitude test and an interview are granted admission, subject to the availability of seats and acceptance of all the rules outlined by school.
The school starts at 9:30 am and ends at 4:00 pm (Additional supportive and constructive classes can be run as per the necessities of children in morning and evening). A variety of teaching methods are applied by experienced and dedicated teachers and administration personnel to ensure optimum learning of knowledge.
The academic session is divided into four terms. Fortnightly assessments are arranged to keep a track of the student's progress. We apply both formative and summative assessments to ensure optimum attainment and progress of every student.
The students must maintain 90 percent attendance of the total class days. Failing to do so may result in the student having to repeat or terminate class.
